My Weekend Escape to Camp Suriyagaon, Sattal by Wildrift Adventures: Camping Experience in Nainital
Sometimes, all you need is a break from city life, endless notifications, and crowded tourist spots. That’s exactly why I decided to spend a few days at Camp Suriyagaon in Sattal by Wildrift Adventures, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most memorable outdoor experiences I’ve had in Uttarakhand.
If you’re looking for authentic camping in Nainital, away from commercial hotels and crowded streets, this place deserves a spot on your travel list.
The View Was the Best Part
The camp is surrounded by pine forests and beautiful hills. Waking up in the morning with birds chirping and cold mountain air felt so refreshing. The view from the campsite was easily my favorite part of the trip.
I spent most of my time simply sitting outside, enjoying the weather and the peaceful atmosphere.
Adventure and Relaxation Together
What I liked about Wildrift Adventures was that the trip had the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. We explored nearby trails, enjoyed nature walks, and spent time around the bonfire at night.
The evenings were honestly unforgettable — good food, cold weather, music, and conversations under a sky full of stars.
Simple Moments Felt Special
The food at the camp was simple but really comforting after a long day outdoors. Even a cup of hot tea felt extra special in the cold weather.
What made this experience memorable for me was how calm and disconnected from stress everything felt.
Why I’d Visit Again
My stay at Camp Suriyagaon by Wildrift Adventures was more than just a weekend trip. It gave me a chance to slow down, enjoy nature, and take a break from screens and routine life.
For anyone planning camping in Nainital, I’d definitely suggest experiencing this place at least once.
